Help Property Managers Get to Know the Pet Behind the Application

Finding rental housing with a dog can be challenging.

Too often, property managers are asked to make decisions based on limited information—usually a pet’s breed, age, weight, and a few checkboxes on an application.

But pets are more than statistics.

National Canine Advocacy Group is developing a free Pet Portfolio tool designed to help responsible pet owners showcase their pet’s health, behavior, training, references, and personality in a professional format that can be shared with property managers.

Our goal is simple:

Help property managers get to know the pet behind the application.

The Pet Portfolio is currently under development and will be available soon.

The completed portfolio will allow pet owners to create a comprehensive profile that may include:

• Pet profile and introduction
• Health and vaccination information
• Training and certifications
• Housing and behavior information
• References and verification
• Photos that showcase your pet’s personality
